Role Purpose To deliver foundational scientific education to engineering and skilled program students, while contributing to research, innovation, and interdisciplinary academic development in line with NEP 2020. Teaching Academic Delivery

- Teach core subjects in:
- Physics: Engineering Physics, Quantum Mechanics, Semiconductor Physics
- Chemistry: Engineering Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Material Science
- Mathematics: Engineering Mathematics, Linear Algebra, Probability Statistics

- Develop lesson plans, lecture notes, assignments, and question banks
- Deliver lectures using modern pedagogy (ICT tools, simulations, smart classrooms)
- Conduct tutorials, remedial classes, and bridge courses

Laboratory Practical Work

- Design and conduct laboratory experiments (Physics/Chemistry labs)
- Ensure proper usage and maintenance of lab equipment
- Guide students in experiments, records, and viva assessments
- Introduce simulation tools (MATLAB, Python, virtual labs)

Research Publications

- Conduct research in core or interdisciplinary areas such as:

- Nanotechnology, Material Science, Renewable Energy (Physics/Chemistry)
- Data Science, Applied Mathematics, AI-based modelling (Mathematics)

- Publish papers in Scopus / SCI / Web of Science indexed journals
- File patents, develop prototypes, and apply for funded research projects
- Guide students in minor/major projects Curriculum Development Academic Innovation





- Contribute to syllabus design as per NEP 2020 UGC guidelines
- Introduce interdisciplinary and skill-based courses
- Develop MOOCs, e-content, and case studies

Student Engagement Mentorship

- Mentor students for academic and career development
- Support competitive exam preparation (GATE, JAM, etc.)
- Encourage participation in technical events, quizzes, and research competitions Administrative Institutional Responsibilities

- Participate in NAAC/NBA accreditation processes and IQAC activities
- Assist in admissions, examinations, and university events
- Contribute to institutional committees and academic audits

- Master s Degree in

- Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Applied Sciences with minimum 55% marks

- NET / GATE qualified

- PhD in relevent subject

Applied Sciences
- Strong conceptual knowledge in respective subject area
- Ability to teach engineering students with practical orientation

- Familiarity with:
- Simulation tools (MATLAB, Python, Scilab)
- Virtual labs and e-learning platforms

- Good communication, presentation, and mentoring skills
