The Profile

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Assistant Manager, Research to manage the execution of high-quality research studies and publications. The role involves overseeing research design, ensuring rigorous data collection and analysis, guiding the research team, and ensuring timely and impactful dissemination of findings. The role will use both qualitative and quantitative methods to generate insights that inform policy, programs, evidence building, and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and institutionalise research systems, processes, within the organization
- Manage research initiatives from conceptualization to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and ethical standards.




- Lead and build Antarangs research function, including managing internal or external research resources. providing technical guidance, mentorship, and oversight.
- Design, plan, and implement research studies across diverse thematic areas.
- Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to derive meaningful insights.
- Perform statistical, predictive, and longitudinal analyses to track trends and program outcomes.
- Ensure quality control of research outputs including data integrity, report accuracy, and analytical rigor.
- Prepare comprehensive research reports, presentations, and publications for various stakeholders.
- Translate research insights into actionable recommendations for program design and strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with program and leadership teams to translate research insights into actionable strategies.
- Represent the organization in external research forums, conferences, and collaborations.

Reporting Structure

The Assistant Manager, Research will report to the Lead, Research and Learning.

Qualifications Experience

- Masters / MPhil in Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in research, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proven experience in designing and conducting both qualitative and quantitative research.
- Preferred experience in skill, employability, livelihood, career education / education programs

- Excellent communication in English and Hindi (written verbal)
