Role Overview:

The Assistant Manager – QAQC is responsible for ensuring quality compliance across design, fabrication, material procurement, and project execution processes. This role acts as the organization’s quality control and assurance governance function, owning quality inspection systems, documentation discipline, process audits, and corrective action implementation across projects and production.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish project quality plans and inspection procedures.
- Define quality checkpoints for fabrication and project execution.
- Verify incoming materials against purchase specifications and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with approved vendor and material standards.
- Maintain material inspection records.
- Conduct stage-wise inspections during fabrication processes.
- Verify dimensional accuracy, welding quality, finishing standards, and assembly.
- Ensure production and execution strictly follow approved drawings and specifications.
- Identify deviations and coordinate corrective actions.
- Coordinate client inspections and third-party quality audits.
- Ensure documentation readiness for inspections,



audits, and client submissions.
- Identify quality deviations and record Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain all quality records, including inspection reports, test certificates, and compliance documents.
- Conduct quality inspections during installation and site execution.
- Verify installation quality against approved drawings and specifications.
- Identify recurring quality issues and recommend process improvements.
- Work with operations and technical teams to reduce rework and defects.

Qualifications and Experience:

- B.Tech / BE or Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or Production Engineering, or a Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering with relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC or quality inspection within fabrication, manufacturing, or project-based environments.
- Experience in metal fabrication, structural works, or engineering project environments is strongly preferred.
