Role Description The Assistant Manager – Gold Loan is a full-time, on-site role based in Perintalmanna. The role involves overseeing daily gold loan operations, including customer interaction, loan processing, documentation verification, and ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

The Assistant

Manager will monitor gold appraisal activities, manage loan disbursement and repayment tracking, and maintain accurate records and reports.

Responsibilities include supervising branch staff involved in gold loan transactions, ensuring strong customer service standards,



and supporting business growth through local outreach and relationship building. The role also requires coordination with senior management on performance metrics, risk management, and compliance.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of gold loan products, processes, and related regulatory norms.
- Experience in retail banking, NBFC, or cooperative credit societies, preferably in loan or branch operations.
- Proficiency in customer service, communication, and relationship management within financial services.
- Ability to handle documentation, record-keeping, and basic financial calculations with attention to detail.
- Comfort with using core banking or loan management software and standard office applications.
- Proven integrity, professionalism, and ability to manage cash and valuables securely.
- Ability to lead and guide a small team, organize workflows, and meet operational targets.
- Graduate degree in finance, commerce, business, or a related field; relevant certifications in banking or gold appraisal are an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Perintalmanna and engage with local customers and communities.
