Role Description The Assistant Manager Finance will support the finance and accounting functions for Pacifica’s real estate and investment operations, working closely with senior finance leadership. This full-time, on-site role is based in Hyderabad and involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, management reports, and performance analyses for multiple projects and entities.
Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing general ledger entries, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, tracking cash flows, and ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings. The role also requires monitoring compliance with internal controls and relevant financial regulations, coordinating with auditors and tax advisors, and supporting the implementation of financial systems and process improvements.

- Take overall ownership of data collation, MIS reporting and financial analysis across all real estate projects,
ensuring accuracy and timely submission to management.
- Prepare, review and finalize presentations in appropriate formats for all real estate projects, for both internal management and external stakeholders.
- Collate, prepare, interpret and critically review reports, budgets, accounts, financial statements and financial models; provide insights and recommendations to management.
- Liaise with senior managerial staff, colleagues and qualified consultants (auditors, bankers, legal advisors) on finance-related matters.
- Report to senior management on project spend, cash flows and budget variances, along with recommendations for corrective action.
- Prepare and present business plans and presentations to Banks & Investors; actively support fund-raising, project finance and investor relations.
- Prepare, review and finalize Asset Management reports for the project portfolio.
- Take end-to-end ownership of coordination for Project Finance and Due Diligence processes.
- Ensure proper maintenance and safe custody of all original project documents, and oversee timely and accurate uploading of the same on DMS.
- Guide, mentor and review the work of junior finance executives, building the team's capability over time.
- Support the development and implementation of sound internal financial controls and processes.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting and finance skills, including financial reporting, general ledger management, and familiarity with budgeting and forecasting.
- Proficiency with financial and accounting software (e.g., ERP systems), advanced Excel skills, and comfort working with large data sets.
- Knowledge of financial controls, compliance standards,
and audit processes, with the ability to support internal and external audits.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in variance analysis, cash flow tracking, and performance measurement.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and present financial information clearly.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
- Experience in real estate, investment management, or a related industry is preferred, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in an on-site setting.

Experience
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Finance, preferably within the real estate industry, including exposure to team handling / mentoring.
Education Qualification Required
MBA – Finance - Preferred
