About The Role The Finance Business Partner (Finance BP) acts as a strategic advisor, bridging finance and business functions to drive performance, profitability, and informed decision-making. The role goes beyond traditional accounting, focusing on insights, forecasting, and financial strategy.

What Makes The Role Successful Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;)  Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

 Track monthly billings and collections, working closely with business and project managers to ensure deliverables are met.

 Provide in-depth analysis that links financial performance with business strategies.

OPEX Reporting & Cost Optimization  Prepare and maintain OPEX reports and dashboards.

 Analyze operational expenses (e.g., travel, utilities) to identify cost-saving opportunities.

 Drive cost optimization and rationalization initiatives to improve efficiency and budget adherence.

Commercial & Contract Management  Review contracts, RFPs, and pitches to evaluate commercial, financial,



and insurance clauses.

 Advise on better terms, highlight deviations, and ensure risk mitigation.

 Vet costing models and recommend optimal tax structures.

Working Capital & Compliance  Monitor AR/AP ageing; follow up on critical payments with customers.

 Address and resolve complex taxation queries (GST, WHT, etc.).

 Ensure compliance with accounting standards (AS/IFRS) for revenue recognition.

 Reconcile gross profits between MIS and actuals in SAP.

Project & Profitability Management  Track project profitability and alert business leaders to potential risks or losses.

 Monitor COGS in SAP, from planning and budgeting through to actuals.

Audit, Governance & Banking  Coordinate with auditors to resolve queries on AR, revenue recognition, and forecasting.

 Liaise with bankers for Bank Guarantees (BGs), including text review, tracking, and finalization.

 Ensure strict compliance with company policies and procedures.

Insights, Analytics & Automation  Develop and maintain dashboards for leadership consumption.

 Provide analytics to support critical business decisions.

 Spearhead automation initiatives to drive efficiency and enhance financial processes.

What We’re Looking For  MBA Finance/ CA intermediate with minimum 2-4 years of experience in business finance, preferably in service industry

 Working knowledge of TDS and GST is essential

 SAP ERP knowledge is preferable

 Should be a positive team player

 Should be able to communicate effectively with subordinates, managers as well as external persons like consultants, vendors & customers

 Experience in creating dashboards - Google Studio/ MS PowerPoint/ Power BI
