Role Description The Assistant Manager Cost Control Accounts and Finance is a full-time, on-site role based in Amethi. The position is responsible for monitoring and controlling production and operational costs, analyzing variances, and preparing regular cost and financial reports for management.

Daily tasks include maintaining accurate accounting records, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, managing payable and receivable processes, and supporting internal and statutory audits. The role also involves reviewing pricing structures,



coordinating with production and procurement teams to optimize cost efficiency, and ensuring adherence to company financial policies and relevant compliance requirements.

Manager will collaborate with senior finance leadership to support decision-making and continuous improvement in financial performance.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in accounting and finance, including cost accounting, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic financial models).
- Knowledge of relevant tax, compliance, and audit requirements, preferably within the Indian regulatory context.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with finance, production, and procurement teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and operate in a fast-paced, on-site manufacturing setup.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; skilled qualifications such as CA/ICWA (completed or pursuing) are an added advantage.
- Prior experience in a food processing or spice manufacturing company is beneficial.
