Role Summary The Assistant Business Manager supports the Business Manager in running the sales segment, directly manages a team of Relationship Managers, and ensures smooth execution of daily sales activities and consistent target achievement

Key Responsibilities

- Support the BM in managing the business segment's day-to-day sales operations
- Directly manage and guide a team of Relationship Managers to achieve individual and collective targets
- Monitor RM activities including daily client visits, order generation, and follow-ups
- Assist in developing and implementing segment business strategies at ground level
- Manage key accounts alongside the BM and independently handle a set of assigned clients
- Ensure timely follow-up on orders,



deliveries, customer complaints, and outstanding payments
- Prepare and present daily and weekly sales MIS reports to the BM
- Train, onboard, and mentor new Relationship Managers joining the team
- Bridge the field sales team and back-office/operations for seamless order flow
- Step in to fulfil BM responsibilities in the BM's absence when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Sound understanding of industrial electrical products and the distribution market
- Team management, coaching, and motivational skills
- Solid follow-up discipline and sales coordination abilities
- Analytical thinking and MIS/reporting skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Clear communication in Hindi; basic English for reports and correspondence

Experience Required 26 years in B2B field sales in electrical or industrial goods. Minimum 1 year in a role managing or mentoring junior sales executives.
