NJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

N1.Design Support

n

N
- Deliver defined number of designs per season
N
- Research on areas as guided for material, technique, silhouette, detail etc.
N
- Assist in sourcing fabrics and trims from vendors
N
- Stay updated with fashion trends relevant to the brand
N
- Actively participate indesign discussions, reviews, and brainstorming sessions
N

n2.Sample Development

N

n
- Assist in sketches, technical drawings, and spec sheets for sampling
N
- Renders of the final designs
N
- Development of textures/embroideries and details
N
- Support prototype development as per shortlisted silhouettes
N
- Work closely with the pattern master to ensure prototypes meet design specifications and quality standards
N
- Refine samples based onfeedback and testing
N
- Assist in final sample development with required corrections
N





n3.Archiving & Documentation

N

- Ensure organized documentation of all design and sampling stages
N
- Seasonal archiving as per defined systems
N

n4.Meetings & Presentation

N

n
- Prepare for internal/external meetings with design updates
N
- Assist in seasonal presentations for sales teams
N

n5.Collaboration & Communication

NWork closely with cross-functional teams (sampling, production, outside vendors etc)

NQUALIFICATIONS

n
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design from a reputed design institute
N
- 2-4 years of work experience in luxury design house
N

nTechnical Skills

N

n
- Strong understanding of silhouettes, garment construction, fit, and proportion
N
- Ability to create sketches, technical drawings, and spec sheets
N
- Excellence in design
N
- Knowledge of fabrics and fall
N
- Experience in sample development and coordination with pattern masters
N
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and basic Excel
N
- Ability to conduct focused research (silhouettes, details, )
N
- Understanding of trims,surface development, and finishing techniques
N
- Basic awareness of costings
N
