About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Pharmaceutical Sales Professional who can take ownership of our business development and sales activities across Varanasi, Mughalsarai, Chandauli and surrounding markets.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in medicine/pharmaceutical sales, good knowledge of the local market, established relationships with doctors, chemists, distributors and stockists, and the ability to increase sales, achieve targets and effectively manage a sales team.

We are looking for someone who is not just a salesperson but can become a long-term business-growth partner and valuable asset to the company.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies for the assigned territory.

Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

Increase sales and market penetration of the company's products.

Develop new doctors, pharmacies, distributors and business opportunities.

Maintain and strengthen relationships with doctors, chemists, stockists and distributors.

Identify high-potential markets and new business opportunities.

Monitor competitors, market trends and customer requirements.

Recruit, train, motivate and manage the sales team, wherever required.

Set team targets and monitor individual performance.

Conduct regular field visits and joint working with team members.

Track sales performance and take corrective action when required.

Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and territory plans.

Ensure proper product availability and market coverage.

Take complete ownership of the assigned territory and business results.

Candidate Requirements

3–,5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/medicine sales, preferably with experience in an Area Sales Manager or similar role.

Strong knowledge of the Varanasi, Mughalsarai,



Chandauli and surrounding markets will be highly preferred.

Existing relationships with doctors, chemists, distributors and stockists will be an advantage.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Experience in handling and motivating a sales team.

Solid communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Good understanding of pharmaceutical sales and distribution.

Ability to analyze sales data and develop territory-wise strategies.

Must be self-driven, energetic, disciplined and target-oriented.

Should be comfortable with extensive field work and local travel.

Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Graduate / MBA / B.Pharm / D.Pharm / B.Sc. or relevant qualification.

Experience: Pharmaceutical sales experience is strongly preferred.

Preferred Area: Varanasi, Mughalsarai, Chandauli or nearby locations.
