Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Purpose of the Role The ASM owns institutional sales for Schoolympiad within an assigned state - building a pipeline of schools, running the sales cycle from first meeting to signed partnership, and handing off a healthy account to the onboarding team. The role is quota-carrying: minimum 15 school closures within the first performance year.

Key Responsibilities u25cfGenerate and qualify leads across CBSE, ICSE and premium private schools (Grades 6-10) in the assigned territory.

u25cfMeet Principals, Directors, Trustees and academic decision-makers to present the Schoolympiad programme.

u25cfConduct product demonstrations.

u25cfPrepare and negotiate commercial proposals; close school partnership agreements.

u25cfMaintain an accurate, up-to-date pipeline in the CRM and report weekly against KPIs.

u25cfCoordinate with the onboarding team to ensure a smooth handover of signed schools.

u25cfAchieve the given target within the given timeline.

Eligibility Criteria u25cf3-7 years of demonstrable B2B / B2G / institutional sales experience, with a closure track record.

u25cfPrior experience selling into schools, colleges,



or educational institutions strongly preferred.

u25cfWillingness to travel extensively within the assigned state (field-first role).

u25cfTwo-wheeler / own conveyance preferred for last-mile school visits.

u25cfStrong presentation and product-demo delivery.

u25cfNegotiation and objection handling with senior academic stakeholders.

u25cfCRM discipline and pipeline hygiene.
