Area Sales Executive Modern Trade & Ecommerce

Location: Mumbai

Reporting To: Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Job Purpose:

The Area Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth, distribution, visibility, and execution excellence across Contemporary Trade (MT) and Ecommerce channels in the assigned geography. The role focuses on managing key accounts, ensuring flawless in-store and online execution, and strengthening distributor and channel partner relationships.

Role & responsibilities :

- Manage modern trade channels across assigned areas to drive sales growth.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase market share through effective planning, execution, and monitoring of promotional activities.
- Build strong relationships with key customers, including distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and stockiest to ensure timely delivery of products.




- Identify opportunities for business expansion by analyzing market trends and competitor activity.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer complaints and improve overall customer satisfaction.
- Drive primary and secondary sales for ITC brands including: Aashirvaad, Sunfeast, Bingo!, Yippee!, ITC Master Chef, Kitchens of India, Fiama, Vivel, Savlon, Engage, Classmate, and Paperkraft across MT & Ecommerce channels.

Preferred candidate profile

- Post Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred)
- 3-7 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in FMCG/FMCD/Consumer Products
- Hands-on experience handling Modern Trade and/or Ecommerce accounts
- Experience in Mumbai location.
