Role Purpose

To lead and manage all civil engineering activities for the Pellet Plant project, ensuring timely execution of civil works, adherence to quality and safety standards, optimal resource utilization, and successful completion of project milestones within budget and schedule.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, execute, and monitor all civil construction activities for the Pellet Plant project from foundation to commissioning support.
- Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and construction methodologies to ensure execution as per design requirements.
- Manage construction of equipment foundations, industrial buildings, RCC and structural works, roads, drains, pipe racks, retaining walls, and other infrastructure.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Process, and Engineering teams for seamless project execution.
- Supervise EPC contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Monitor project schedules, identify critical paths, and implement corrective actions to achieve project milestones.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, approved construction procedures, and inspection protocols.
- Oversee quantity verification, billing certification, contractor measurements, and progress monitoring.
- Ensure adherence to HSE standards, statutory regulations, and permit-to-work requirements at site.
- Coordinate material planning, procurement support, and availability of construction resources.
- Review and approve method statements, work schedules, and site execution plans.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation plans.




- Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining project quality and timelines.
- Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and project handover activities.

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- M.Tech/PG in Construction Management or Project Management (Preferred).

Experience

- 12–18 years of experience in civil project execution for Pellet Plants, Steel Plants, Power Plants, Cement Plants, or other heavy industrial projects.
- Experience in greenfield and brownfield industrial projects.
- Proven experience in managing large EPC contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
