Key Areas of Responsibilities

- Manage Trading Operations for Asia’s leading brokerage’s global front-office systems, ensuring smooth, efficient, and reliable operations.

- Provide production support for critical order management and trading systems, ensuring system stability, performance, and compliance with business requirements.

- Interact directly with Dealers, Traders, Business Heads, and other stakeholders across global markets to support trading activities and resolve operational issues.

- Perform day-to-day application support, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and system maintenance using SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, and Perl.

- Participate in onboarding and rollout activities for new markets and stock exchanges, ensuring successful implementation and operational readiness.

- Support OMS (Order Management Systems), Market Connectivity platforms, and trading applications across Cash and F&O; markets, particularly within Asian Exchanges.

- Work closely with end users, business teams, vendors, and project stakeholders to address production issues and deliver effective solutions.

- Monitor trading applications and proactively identify opportunities to improve system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.

- Adhere to established technology standards, support processes, and best practices while collaborating with broader technology and infrastructure teams.





- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, operational procedures, troubleshooting guides, and deployment activities.

- Stay current with industry trends, market structure changes, and emerging technologies to enhance trading platform capabilities and support functions.

- Utilize FIX Protocol knowledge to support market connectivity, order flow management, and trading system integrations.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

- 8–12 years of hands-on experience in production/application support within trading environments.

- Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, and Perl.

- Proven experience supporting Equities Brokerage Front Office systems, preferably within a bulge-bracket investment bank or large financial institution.

- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and incident management skills in a production support setting.

- Experience working directly with business users, traders, dealers, vendors, and cross-functional project stakeholders.

- Hands-on experience with OMS (Order Management Systems) and/or Market Connectivity platforms.

- Good understanding of Cash and F&O; markets, with exposure to Asian Exchanges.

- Mandatory knowledge and practical experience with FIX Protocol.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
