Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Emergency Medicine Physician role based in Bengaluru. The physician will provide timely assessment, stabilization, and management of patients presenting with acute and urgent medical conditions, including trauma, cardiac events, respiratory emergencies, and other critical illnesses.

Daily responsibilities include performing focused examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, initiating evidence-based treatment plans, and coordinating care with other specialists and healthcare team members. The role involves triaging patients, overseeing urgent care workflows, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, and participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives. The physician will also contribute to patient and family education, maintain accurate medical records,



and support MediVaah’s mission of accessible, high-quality emergency care.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Medicine, with current medical licensure and eligibility to practice as a physician in India.
- Demonstrated expertise in Emergency Medicine and Emergency Services for managing acute and time-sensitive conditions.
- Experience in Urgent Care settings, including rapid triage, stabilization, and short-term management of diverse patient presentations.
- Competence in Critical Care Medicine, including the management of hemodynamically unstable patients and complex multi-organ conditions.
- Completed MD/DNB in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or equivalent postgraduate qualification; additional emergency or critical care certifications are an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments, make sound clinical decisions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care, ethical practice, and cultural sensitivity.
- Willingness to participate in shift-based work, continuous learning, and adherence to clinical and safety protocols.
