About The Role As a Presales Engineer (Android) at Wiseasy, based in India, you will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of our innovative payment solutions across the region. This is a client-facing role where you will support customers and business partners — including resellers, distributors, and system integrators — by developing demo applications and Proof of Concept (PoC) solutions using Android SDK resources, tools, and technical expertise to effectively promote, sell, and support our products and services.

Your primary objective is to strengthen our customer and partner ecosystem and foster mutual success. The role involves approximately 15–20% travel within India and potentially across the APAC region, providing opportunities to engage directly with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in Android development or a technical support role, preferably within fintech or the card-present transaction domain.
- Prior experience with Android POS terminals, payment gateways,



and EMV specifications is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or Flutter, with practical experience using Android Studio or similar IDEs.
- Familiarity with India's payments ecosystem, including UPI, NPCI, RuPay, and Aadhaar-based authentication, is a plus.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi or other regional Indian languages is beneficial. Mandarin language skills will also be considered an asset.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural, and multilingual environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Solid interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify current business opportunities and facilitate customer acquisition efforts within the Indian market.
- Engage with customers and business partners to understand their technical requirements and recommend suitable solutions aligned with their needs.
- Develop and demonstrate applications to validate customer-specific proof of concepts, showcasing the capabilities of Wiseasy's solutions.
- Ensure seamless integration of SDKs and APIs into clients' applications by analyzing logs, debugging, and reviewing technical documentation.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and technical presentations to educate clients and partners on product features, deployment processes, and best practices.




- Troubleshoot technical issues promptly, providing effective solutions to minimize downtime and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on India's digital payments landscape, including UPI, RuPay, and regulatory frameworks such as RBI guidelines, to contextualize Wiseasy solutions effectively for local clients.
- Assist in customizing solutions and supporting deployment activities to ensure successful implementation and adoption of our products.
- Gather feedback from clients to inform product enhancements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
