? Analytics Engineer – Power BI (Data Modeling → Executive Dashboards)

Own analytics delivery end-to-end — from messy source data to enterprise-grade Power BI semantic models and the dashboards executives actually use to make decisions.

This isn't a "connect to a clean table and build charts" role. You'll work close to the data — shaping, cleaning, and modeling it — before it ever reaches a dashboard. You'll also help us map where our data foundation needs further engineering investment as we scale.

We're a Germany-based company building [add one line on what the company does / industry]. This role is fully remote , open to candidates anywhere in India , with working hours aligned to CET to overlap with our teams in Germany.

? What You'll Own

- Design and build enterprise Power BI semantic models using advanced DAX and Power Query
- Prepare and shape source data: SQL transformations , Power Query, data cleaning, and validation against source systems
- Build executive dashboards and operational reporting that directly drive business decisions




- Design star schemas and own the semantic model end-to-end
- Partner directly with business leaders — translate ambiguous requirements into clear reporting, and present confidently to non-technical audiences

✅ What You Bring
- 5+ years in BI / Analytics Engineering, with expert-level Power BI ( PL-300 certified, minimum )
- Advanced DAX , solid SQL , and solid grounding in dimensional modeling
- Hands-on comfort with imperfect, messy source data — you clean and validate it, you don't just visualize it
- A track record of stakeholder-facing delivery — you demo your own work directly to executives

⭐ Nice to Have (Prioritized in Ranking)
- Data engineering experience — ETL/ELT pipelines (Azure Data Factory / Microsoft Fabric), Python for data preparation
- Master data & data quality work — deduplication, cleaning, and validation of messy source systems
- DP-600 / Fabric , TMDL/PBIP with CI/CD for BI artifacts, Power BI embedding (JS SDK) , and enterprise Row-Level Security (RLS)
