Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute strategic sea freight plans to optimize shipment efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
- Manage end-to-end sea freight operations, including booking, documentation, customs clearance, and final delivery.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure proper documentation for audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and share reports on shipment milestones, delays, operational performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines along with claim handling, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics partners.




- Monitor shipment progress to ensure timely deliveries, operational excellence, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable import/export regulations, trade policies, and industry standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Proven experience in sea freight logistics, import/export operations, or international shipping.
- Robust negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive freight rates and service agreements.
- In-depth knowledge of customs procedures, international trade regulations, and shipping documentation.
- Experience managing end-to-end freight operations, including bookings, documentation, and team coordination where applicable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to improving operational performance.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Proficiency in logistics management systems, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to ensuring timely deliveries and exceptional service.
