Job Title: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Service Sales

Role Overview (Job Statement)
The role is responsible for driving Service Sales business, including spare parts and service contracts, within the Mining and Mineral Processing industry. The incumbent will identify and develop business opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and contribute to revenue growth through value-driven service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and develop business opportunities for service sales (spare parts, AMC/service contracts) in Mining and Mineral Processing plants.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer processes and effectively present service solutions across:
- Beneficiation
- Sintering
- Pelletization
- Grinding circuits
- Crushing & Screening units
- Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Proposals, Order Management) to:
- Define KPIs and deliverables for service contracts
- Align commercial and technical proposals
- Support successful deal closure
- Manage and track the sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with mid to senior-level stakeholders at customer organizations.
- Achieve sales targets through proactive engagement, negotiation, and consultative selling.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in:
- Mining industry
- Mineral processing
- Beneficiation / Pelletization / Grinding circuits
Must-Have Requirements
- Proven experience in selling spare parts and services for iron ore mineral processing plants
- Strong understanding of commercial terms & contract agreements
- Established network and strong connect with key influencers at customer sites
- Technical background in Mechanical Engineering
- Willingness to travel extensively (10–15 days/month)
- Strong sales acumen with a result-oriented approach
- Excellent communication skills and practical (“street-smart”) problem-solving ability
