Role Description The AI/ML Specialist will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI solutions that enhance 3D-LABS products, AI agents, and engineering tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and preprocessing data, experimenting with algorithms, training and validating models, and integrating them into production systems in collaboration with software engineers and domain experts. The role involves working closely with product teams to translate engineering and business requirements into scalable AI features, optimizing models for performance and reliability, and monitoring deployed systems for continuous improvement.





The AI/ML Specialist will also contribute to technical documentation, support knowledge sharing, and stay current with advances in AI and machine learning relevant to engineering applications. This is a full-time hybrid role, primarily based in Tiruchirappalli, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess robust skills in machine learning fundamentals, including supervised and unsupervised learning, model evaluation, and optimization.

Candidates should possess applied AI skills such as deep learning, computer vision or natural language processing, and experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.

Candidates should possess solid programming and data skills, including proficiency in Python (and/or R), data preprocessing, and working with libraries such as pandas and NumPy.

Candidates should possess experience in software engineering practices, including version control (e.g., Git), API development or integration, and basic understanding of deploying models to production environments.

Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate engineering or business requirements into data-driven AI solutions.
