Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Agro Products Trader to manage trading activities for agricultural commodities including, but not limited to, peanuts, soybean, oilseeds, pulses, grains, and related agro products. The candidate will be responsible for domestic sales, market development, and distribution across India.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and manage trading activities for agro commodities such as peanuts, soybean, oilseeds, pulses, and grains.
- Identify and establish relationships with domestic buyers/end users.
- Coordinate import operations, documentation, logistics, customs clearance, and delivery schedules.
- Develop and expand domestic distribution networks and customer relationships.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, crop forecasts, demand-supply dynamics, and competitor activities.
- Negotiate purchase and sales contracts to maximize profitability.
- Coordinate with logistics, warehousing, and finance teams for smooth execution of transactions.
- Manage inventory planning and ensure timely fulfilment of customer requirements.




- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Prepare regular market intelligence and trading performance reports.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 10-15 years of experience in agro commodity trading, procurement, sales, or distribution.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural commodities, market dynamics, and pricing mechanisms.
- Experience in import operations and domestic distribution.
- Good understanding of logistics, documentation, and supply chain processes.
- Robust negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and trading-related reporting.

Educational Qualification – Agro Products Trader Required:

- Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness Management, Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Preferred:

- MBA in Agribusiness, Marketing, International Business, or Supply Chain Management.
- Additional certifications in Commodity Trading, Import-Export Management, or Supply Chain Management will be an advantage.
