Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Advocate role based in Vijayawada. The Advocate will represent clients in legal proceedings, draft and review legal documents, provide legal opinions, and advise clients on litigation strategies and dispute resolution options. Daily responsibilities include appearing before courts and tribunals, conducting legal research, preparing case briefs, coordinating with clients and internal teams, and maintaining accurate case records.

The role also involves collaborating with NyayaTech’s technology and operations teams to improve workflows, enhance client experience,



and contribute to the development of accessible legal services.

Qualifications Valid law degree (LL.B or equivalent) and enrollment with a recognized Bar Council; demonstrated experience in litigation or legal practice.

Robust legal research, drafting, and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret statutes, case law, and regulatory guidance.

Effective client communication and counselling skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in clear, simple language.

Ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and work systematically with attention to detail and professional ethics.

Comfort working with digital tools and legal technology platforms; openness to learning and contributing to tech-enabled legal solutions.

Proficiency in English and relevant local languages for court practice in Vijayawada; strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.

Commitment to access to justice, affordability of legal services, and serving diverse communities across India.

Prior experience in civil, criminal, or consumer matters in Indian courts is an advantage, as is experience in legal aid or public-interest work.
