Role Description The Accounts Manager is a full-time role responsible for overseeing financial and accounting operations for MLS Group’s logistics activities at the Ghaziabad location. This on-site position involves managing accounts receivable and payable, maintaining accurate ledgers, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring timely invoicing and collections.

The Accounts

Manager will prepare financial reports, monitor cash flow, support budgeting and forecasting, and coordinate with internal teams on cost control and pricing for freight and shipping services. The role includes ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies,



as well as liaising with auditors and external stakeholders when required.

Manager will also contribute to process improvements, implement best practices, and support senior management with financial analysis and decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong accounting and finance skills, including general ledger management, accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Experience with taxation, compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to logistics, shipping, and customs-related operations.
- Ability to interpret financial data, perform cost and margin analysis, and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and integrity in handling financial records and confidential information.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with operations, sales, and external partners.
- Prior experience around 4 to 5 years in logistics, freight forwarding accounting is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA/CPA/CMA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Ability to work full-time in office in Ghaziabad, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
