- Job Purpose

The Accounts Head will be responsible for leading the complete Accounts & Finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, taxation, payroll, banking, budgeting, and internal financial controls. The role will support management with timely MIS reports and financial insights while ensuring efficient cash flow and compliance across business operations.
- Key Roles & Responsibilities

Financial Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Generate MIS reports for management.

Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.

Accounts Payable

Manage vendor payments within agreed credit terms.

Monitor outstanding liabilities.

Verify and approve payment vouchers.

Accounts Receivable

Monitor customer receivables.

Follow up for collections.

Review debtor ageing reports.

GST Compliance

Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B).

Reconcile GSTR-2A/2B.

Handle GST notices and assessments.

TDS Compliance

Deduct applicable TDS.

Deposit TDS within statutory timelines.

File quarterly TDS returns.

Payroll Management

Process monthly payroll.

Ensure PF, ESIC, PT & TDS compliance.

Verify salary disbursement.

Banking & Treasury

Handle banking operations.

Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).

Manage OD/CC limits and cash flow.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Prepare annual budgets.

Monitor budget vs actual.

Support management with financial forecasting.

Audit & Compliance

Coordinate statutory, internal and tax audits.

Ensure compliance with Companies Act and tax laws.

Maintain proper accounting records.

Cost Control

Monitor departmental expenses.





Analyse cost variances.

Recommend cost optimization initiatives.

Insurance & Risk Management

Manage insurance renewals.

Ensure adequate business risk coverage.

Team Management

Lead and supervise the Accounts team.

Allocate work and review performance.

Train and mentor junior team members.
