Job Title: Accounts and Finance Manager (REAL ESTATE)

REAL ESTATE BACKGROUND IS MANDATORY

Reporting To: Head – Finance / CFO

Job Summary:

The Financial Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial accounting, reporting, statutory compliance, and internal controls. The role ensures accurate financial records, adherence to Indian accounting standards, and timely reporting to management and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting:

- Manage end-to-end accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts
- Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards
- Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to management

1. Statutory Compliance and Taxation:

- Ensure compliance with GST filings and reconciliations
- Manage TDS returns and payments
- Handle Income Tax filings and advance tax calculations
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits
- Ensure adherence to the Companies Act, 2013

1. Budgeting and Financial Planning:

- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Monitor actual performance against budgets
- Support cost control and profitability analysis

1. Cash Flow and Treasury Management:

- Manage cash flow planning and working capital
- Monitor banking transactions and fund utilization




- Liaise with banks and financial institutions

1. Internal Controls and Risk Management:

- Develop and implement internal financial controls
- Ensure proper documentation and audit trails
- Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies

1. Team Management:

- Lead and supervise the accounts team
- Allocate tasks and ensure timely closure of books
- Provide training and performance feedback

1. MIS and Reporting:

- Prepare MIS reports for senior management
- Generate dashboards for financial performance tracking
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting

Qualifications and Experience:

- CA/ MBA (Finance)/ M. Com
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance
- Experience in Indian taxation and compliance is mandatory

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Robust knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax)
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
