Job Summary The Accountant Trainee supports the Finance & Accounts Department by assisting with day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing documentation, and learning company accounting procedures. This role is designed to provide practical exposure to accounting operations while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in recording daily financial transactions in the accounting system.

- Prepare and maintain vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payment records.

- Verify bills, purchase invoices, and supporting documents before processing.

- Assist in preparing sales invoices and following up on payment documentation.

- Maintain cash, bank, and ledger entries under the guidance of senior accounts staff.

- Support bank reconciliation and account reconciliation activities.

- Organize and maintain financial files, records, and documentation.

- Help prepare monthly financial reports and MIS reports.

- Support inventory and asset verification whenever required.





- Assist during internal and external audits by providing necessary documents.

- Maintain confidentiality of all financial information.

- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks assigned by the Accounts Manager.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com preferred).

- Freshers are encouraged to apply.

- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial documentation.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software is an advantage.
