Objective

- Specific: Manage and maintain accurate books of accounts, handle taxation, and support financial planning for the company.
- Measurable: Ensure 100% accuracy in ledger entries, timely submission of GST/TDS returns, and monthly MIS reports.
- Achievable: Utilize accounting tools and ERP software to streamline the financial workflow and reporting.
- Relevant: Strengthen the financial backbone of the company to support growth in the shuttering plywood sector.
- Time-bound: Achieve complete automation and reconciliation of accounts within 6 months of joining.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting in Tally ERP or similar software.
- Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns on time.
- Handle vendor invoices, purchase bills, and payment entries.
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements, monthly P&L;, and balance sheets.
- Maintain stock and inventory-related financial records.




- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and company policies.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Accuracy of financial entries and ledgers (target: 99%+)
- Timeliness of statutory filings (100% on or before due dates)
- Monthly financial reporting completed within 5 working days
- Zero non-compliance penalties during audits

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience as an Accountant (manufacturing industry preferred)
- Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / Busy Accounting Software and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail, confidentiality, and integrity
