Accountant – Audit Background

Location: Kuwait

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with a strong background in professional audit firms such as EY, KPMG, Deloitte, PwC, or an equivalent organization.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the restaurant or F&B; industry, with strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), payroll, and reconciliations.
- Prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements.
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory, wastage, and branch financial reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage vendor payments.
- Maintain effective internal financial controls.




- Support and coordinate with external auditors during audit activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely accounting records and financial reporting.

Requirements

- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Previous experience in a qualified audit firm such as EY, KPMG, Deloitte, PwC, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Zoho, or Odoo.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- F&B;/restaurant industry experience is preferred.

Pay: ₹85,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
