Open Positions - Accountant & Senior Accountant (Taxation and Bookkeeping)

Location - Chennai & Vadodara

Experience Required:

- 2 to 6 years of relevant experience
- Mandatory experience in Australian Accounting, Taxation or Bookkeeping
- Experience in Australian public practice/accounting firms will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Australian Taxation

- Preparation and review of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns
- BAS, GST, IAS and compliance activities
- Preparation of work papers and supporting schedules
- Liaising with Australian stakeholders
- Reviewing junior team members work
- Ensuring quality, compliance and timely delivery




- Mentoring and knowledge sharing

Australian Bookkeeping

- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Payroll processing
- BAS preparation support
- Month-end and year-end closing activities
- Review of bookkeeping deliverables
- Process improvement and quality initiatives

Skills Required

- Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting & Taxation
- Experience with Xero, MYOB and/or QuickBooks Online
- Understanding of ATO compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Client-focused mindset
