Role Description This full-time, in office Accountant role is based in Gandhinagar and supports the financial operations of Apollo Group Mining. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping, general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.

The role includes preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. The individual will monitor costs, analyze variances, support audits, and provide accurate financial reports to management for decision-making. The Accountant will collaborate with operational teams, maintain organized financial records, and contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and financial transparency.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable,



bank reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Understanding of taxation, compliance requirements, and audit procedures relevant to the mining or industrial sector.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are an asset.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, mining, or heavy industry finance is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work on-site in Gandhinagar and manage deadlines in a dynamic operational environment.
