Key Responsibilities

1. Record and maintain all accounting transactions in the accounting system.
2. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
3. Process and account for import transactions, including purchase orders, supplier invoices, freight charges, customs duties, and clearing expenses.
4. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and suppliers regarding financial documentation.
5. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
6. Monitor inventory valuation and reconcile inventory records with accounting records.
7. Ensure timely payment to overseas suppliers and local vendors.
8. Handle GST, TDS, withholding taxes, and other statutory compliance requirements as applicable.
9. Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
10. Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.

Monitor foreign currency transactions and maintain exchange rate records.
12. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Preferred Skills & Experience

1. Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an import, trading, or furniture business.
2. Strong understanding of import documentation, customs duties, and international supplier payments.
3. Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP systems).
4. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
5. Robust analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
8. Good communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹480,000.00 - ₹540,000.00 per year
