Company Description Elite Cricket Academy and Sports Gear Private Limited (ECA), opened in June 2023, is an integrated elite indoor cricket training facility in Medavakkam, Chennai. The center features modern training equipment, a gym, recovery area, onsite retail store, and box cricket zone, offering a complete training experience for cricketers and sports enthusiasts. With 38m cricket lanes that support full run-ups for bowlers, ECA aims to be a preferred destination for training, practice, and indoor sports in Chennai.

The academy’s mission is to provide a structured, evolving learning workplace that welcomes cricketers of all ages and genders and helps them become confident players. ECA invests in high-quality coaching, support staff, and equipment to ensure patrons receive excellent service and a satisfying training experience.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Account Intern role based in Chennai.

The Account

Intern will assist with daily finance and accounting tasks, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, preparing basic reports, and supporting reconciliations. The role involves coordinating with the operations and retail teams to track revenues and expenses, helping manage invoices, receipts, and customer accounts. The intern will support customer service at the front desk or retail area when required,



ensuring accurate billing and account-related queries are handled promptly.

The Account

Intern will work closely with senior staff to learn accounting best practices and contribute to the smooth financial administration of the academy.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and support accurate reporting.

Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, interact with customers, and clarify account-related information.

Candidates should possess foundational Finance skills, including basic understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial documentation.

Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to address queries professionally, support front-desk interactions, and ensure a positive experience for patrons.

Candidates should possess Account Management abilities to help maintain customer records, track payments, and support invoice and receipt processes.

Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ongoing or completed) are beneficial.

Proficiency in MS Excel and basic accounting or ERP software, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn in a quick-paced sports environment are advantageous.
