Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures

Record the store material receipt and consumption on a daily basis

Checking the stock as per records

Receiving materials, stocking, recording receipts, assisting JE to prepare quality reports of the received materials

Issue materials as per the indent for different works

General supervision on the site regarding wastage of material, improper use of material, etc

Recollection of any balance/unused materials at the end of the working days

Make sure material lying on the site premises are back to inventory post-project completion.

Update records on display boards and display slates regarding the stock.

Prepare fortnightly/monthly consumption reports jointly with junior engineers.

Prepare a list of excess material.

Update the stocks periodically.

Inform the concerned engineer of the status of the balance material in order to raise further indent.

Follow up with material suppliers, with prior consent from the purchasing department,



to ensure timely supply.

Maintain records of departmental tools, machinery, etc. on site.

Maintain records of cash purchase tools on the site.

Inform the concerned engineer of the working condition of the machinery.

Report to upper management on stock levels, issues, etc.

Requirements

B.E/Diploma(Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) / BSC/BA/MBA in Business administration or Logistics or relevant field

5+ years of experience in store keeping, inventory control, or record keeping

Work experience with a reputable construction company would be an added advantage.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & ERP

Keen attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively

Organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are a must.

Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task is an asset.
