Role Description As an Academic Counselor at StringStack.ai, you will guide learners and job aspirants in choosing suitable programs, career paths, and skill-building opportunities. You will conduct one-on-one counseling sessions, understand each learner’s background and goals, and provide tailored recommendations based on industry trends and program offerings.

Daily activities include explaining course structures, clarifying outcomes, supporting learners through the admissions process, and maintaining accurate records of interactions and progress.



You will collaborate with trainers and program managers to align learner needs with available resources, and proactively follow up with prospective and enrolled learners to ensure engagement and satisfaction. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area.

Qualifications

- Strong counseling and advisory skills, with the ability to listen actively, ask probing questions, and offer clear, practical guidance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex information simply and build trust with diverse learners.
- Familiarity with modern education and job market trends, especially in technology and qualified upskilling domains.
- Organizational and documentation skills to manage inquiries, track learner progress, and maintain accurate records.
- Comfort with digital tools and platforms used for learner management, scheduling, and communication.
- Prior experience in academic counseling, career services, admissions, or student support is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Management, or a related field; advanced qualifications in counseling or career guidance are a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Bengaluru Area and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
