IES University invites applications from accomplished academic leaders for the position of Director/Dean – Department of Pharmacy . We are looking for a visionary skilled who can drive academic excellence, research, innovation, regulatory compliance, and industry engagement while shaping the next generation of pharmacy professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for the Department of Pharmacy.
- Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) , UGC , and University regulations.
- Lead academic planning, curriculum implementation, quality assurance, and accreditation initiatives.
- Foster research, innovation, funded projects, patents, and industry collaborations.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing faculty.
- Strengthen student outcomes through internships, placements, and research opportunities.
Eligibility
- Ph.D. in Pharmacy from a recognized University.
- First Class B.Pharm. and M.Pharm. in a relevant specialization.
- Qualifications and experience as per PCI/UGC norms .
Experience
- Minimum 15 years of teaching, research, and/or industry experience.
- At least 5 years in a senior academic leadership role (Dean, Director, Principal, Professor & Head, or equivalent).
- Proven experience with PCI approvals , accreditation (NAAC/NBA), institutional development, and research leadership will be preferred.
