Role Description The Academic Counsellor role at Al Fahad Enterprises is a full time, on-site position based in Bengaluru, offering a salary range of 35,000–40,000 INR and above, plus incentives.

The Academic

Counsellor will guide students on academic pathways, educational options, and suitable courses based on their interests, strengths, and goals. Day-to-day tasks include conducting counseling sessions, assessing student needs, providing career and academic advice, and maintaining accurate records of interactions and progress. The role also involves coordinating with educational institutions, participating in outreach activities, and supporting students and families with clear, empathetic communication.

The Academic

Counsellor is expected to collaborate with internal teams to improve counseling processes and contribute to student success outcomes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills to support learners in making informed educational decisions.




- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to engage clearly and professionally with students, families, and institutional partners.
- Candidates should possess Career Counseling skills to help students explore career pathways and align academic choices with long-term goals.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Education, preferably with experience or qualifications in counseling, psychology, or academic guidance.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; prior experience in academic or career counseling is an advantage.
- Additional beneficial skills include active listening, empathy, problem-solving, record-keeping, and the ability to work with diverse student populations.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and comfort with maintaining digital records and reports.
