About Dear Sakhi

Dear Sakhi is a women-focused initiative working towards creating safe, compassionate spaces where women can talk, feel heard, and find support. We are beginning with mental health awareness and emotional well-being, with a broader vision of building a supportive community for women.

We are looking for a Content & Storytelling Intern who can help us communicate this mission through meaningful, empathetic, and engaging content.

What you'll do

- Research and write content for Instagram posts, carousels, captions, reels, and awareness campaigns.
- Develop creative storytelling ideas around women's mental health, emotional well-being, relationships, self-worth, and related social issues.
- Help create and maintain Dear Sakhi's content calendar.
- Turn research and ideas into simple, relatable, and impactful social media content.
- Write in a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental tone that reflects Dear Sakhi's identity.
- Collaborate with the design team to turn written concepts into engaging visual content.
- Stay updated with relevant conversations and social media trends and suggest ideas that can help Dear Sakhi reach a wider audience.
- Assist with website/blog/newsletter content as Dear Sakhi expands.

What we're looking for





- Strong written English and communication skills.
- Good storytelling and creative writing ability.
- Strong research skills and attention to detail.
- Someone who can write about sensitive topics with empathy and responsibility.
- Genuine interest in women's issues, mental well-being, social impact, or community building.
- Creativity and willingness to experiment with different content formats.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.

Prior experience isn't mandatory. Students and recent graduates with solid writing samples are welcome to apply.
