Production Manager – Garment Manufacturing

Position: Production Manager – Cut to Pack

Products: T-Shirts, Jackets & Tracksuits

Location: Greater Noida

Experience: 5–10+ years in garment manufacturing

Job Responsibilities

- Manage the complete cut-to-pack production process from cutting, sewing/stitching, finishing, ironing, quality checking and packing.
- Plan daily and weekly production according to buyer requirements and shipment deadlines.
- Manage production teams, supervisors, checkers and operators to achieve planned targets.
- Monitor line efficiency, production output, manpower and machine utilization.
- Ensure proper coordination between cutting, stitching, finishing, QC and packing departments.
- Maintain consistent quality standards and minimize rejection, alteration, rework and wastage.
- Conduct regular inline and final quality inspections.
- Ensure garments are produced according to approved samples, measurements, specifications and buyer requirements.
- Identify production bottlenecks and take immediate corrective action.
- Monitor fabric and accessory availability to avoid production stoppages.
- Maintain production reports,



daily output reports, rejection reports and efficiency reports.
- Ensure proper packing, assortment, labeling and carton-wise packing as per buyer instructions.
- Coordinate with merchandising, stores, purchase and management for smooth production.
- Ensure on-time completion and dispatch of orders.
- Train and guide production staff to improve productivity and quality.
- Maintain discipline, safety and housekeeping on the production floor.

Candidate Requirements

- Strong experience in T-shirt, jacket and tracksuit manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of cutting, stitching, finishing, QC and packing.
- Proven experience managing complete cut-to-pack operations.
- Robust manpower and production-floor management skills.
- Good understanding of garment quality standards and measurement/specification control.
- Ability to handle multiple orders simultaneously and meet tight shipment schedules.
- Should be capable of independently managing the production floor and reporting directly to management.
