Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site cardiologist role based at Apex Hospitals in Udaipur. The cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiac care, including outpatient consultations, inpatient management, and emergency assessments for patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions. Daily responsibilities include performing and interpreting diagnostic tests (such as ECG, echocardiography, stress tests, and other relevant investigations), developing individualized treatment plans, prescribing medications, and monitoring patient progress. The role may involve interventional procedures depending on training and hospital requirements, coordination with multidisciplinary teams (including internal medicine,



critical care, and nursing staff), and participation in case discussions and clinical meetings. The cardiologist is expected to maintain accurate medical records, adhere to clinical protocols and NABH standards, counsel patients and families, and contribute to quality improvement and clinical education initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in medicine, with demonstrated clinical competence in managing complex medical and cardiovascular conditions.
- Advanced expertise in cardiology, including diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of cardiac diseases and familiarity with current evidence-based guidelines.
- Proficiency in interventional cardiology procedures appropriate to training and hospital facilities, including catheter-based diagnostics and interventions.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with postgraduate qualification in cardiology (MD/DM or equivalent) and valid medical registration as per regulatory requirements.
- Experience working in tertiary or super-speciality hospital settings, with familiarity with NABH or similar quality standards.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, continuous learning, and participation in clinical audits and educational activities.
