About the Role

Ekam Bright Beginnings, Kompally is looking for a Head of Centre — a single, hands-on leader who combines academic and curriculum leadership with the day-to-day administration, parent relations, and operational management of the centre. This role brings together the responsibilities traditionally split across a Head of Curriculum & Centre Manager and a Parent Relations Manager, and is ideal for someone who can move comfortably between the classroom, the front office, and the boardroom — ensuring both educational excellence and smooth, effective centre operations.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum & Academic Leadership

• Determine and organize an age-appropriate curriculum in line with the needs, interests, and developmental stage of the children, in conjunction with the Director.
• Monitor planning, assessment, and delivery of the curriculum across all classes.
• Ensure the physical, social, emotional, and behavioural needs of children are met through consistent routines and staff practices.




• Maintain and develop whole-centre policies in line with Ekam's philosophy and ethos.
• Assist in curriculum documentation, planning, and implementation of the program.

Staff Leadership & Development
• Recommend staffing plans in line with the centre's needs; deploy and manage teaching and ancillary staff.
• Ensure staff have access to advice, supervision, and training appropriate to their needs.
• Supervise staff appraisals and participate in self- and centre-wide performance reviews.
• Train staff where appropriate, including on child protection, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Provide hands-on leadership to all staff and students, fostering high morale and enthusiasm.

Standards of Teaching, Learning & Child Care
• Supervise and monitor the wellbeing of all pupils across physical, social, and behavioural development.
