Role Description The Public Policy Intern role at Digistall is a remote internship focused on supporting policy research and advocacy related to technology access and e-commerce in rural India. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing government policies and regulations, tracking legislative developments that impact digital inclusion and rural entrepreneurship, and preparing policy briefs, memos, and reports. The intern will assist in developing advocacy materials,



drafting communication for stakeholders, and supporting outreach to public agencies and partners. Responsibilities also include compiling data, preparing presentations, and coordinating with team members to align policy insights with program design and organizational strategy.

Solid Analytical Skills for policy research, data interpretation, and evidence-based recommendations.
Excellent Communication skills for writing briefs, reports, and stakeholder communication.
Interest or coursework in public policy, political science, economics, law, or related fields.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with rural development, digital inclusion, or e-commerce ecosystems is an advantage.
Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software).
