We are looking for an experienced Lead SQL DBA with strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, Database Administration, and Reporting/BI tools to join our team.
Key Requirements
0–15 years of strong SQL Server DBA experience
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016–2022
Excellent knowledge of T-SQL, Query Optimization & Performance Tuning
Experience with Always On Availability Groups, Clustering, Replication, Log Shipping,
Backup & Recovery
Strong experience with Reporting & BI platforms – Power BI and SSRS are MUST-HAVE
➕ Exposure to Cognos, Tableau, Oracle BI Publisher or Argos Reporting will be an advantage
Experience with ETL/Data Integration tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, IICS and SSIS
Experience supporting enterprise production environments and L3/L4 technical issues
Strong ability to work independently and manage projects/technical requirements directly with clients
Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Exposure to Azure SQL / AWS RDS / hybrid database environments is an added advantage
Experience with PowerShell, Python or SQL Agent for automation is a plus
Domain Preference
Experience in the Higher Education domain is highly preferred, particularly exposure to ERP environments such as Ellucian Colleague or Jenzabar.
