Role Description
The Assistant Professor – Animation and Visual Effects is a full-time, on-site faculty role based at the Navi Mumbai campus. The role involves planning and delivering lectures, studio sessions, and workshops in animation, visual effects, and related disciplines. The faculty member will guide students on projects, portfolios, and industry-relevant assignments, and provide regular academic mentorship and feedback.



Responsibilities include designing and updating course materials, participating in curriculum development, and staying current with industry trends and software tools. The role also involves contributing to departmental activities, academic events, and, where applicable, research or creative productions in animation and visual effects.

Qualifications
Strong academic background in Animation, Visual Effects, Multimedia, or a closely related field; a master’s degree or higher is preferred.
Proficiency with industry-standard animation and VFX tools (e.g., Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, After Effects, Nuke, or similar) and related production pipelines.
Demonstrated experience in teaching, training, or mentoring in animation, visual effects, or digital media, with the ability to design clear, structured learning modules.
Ability to integrate practical, industry-based assignments and project work into classroom teaching, fostering
