Role Description The Application Security Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara, responsible for overseeing the security of enterprise applications throughout their lifecycle. This role involves defining and implementing application security policies, standards, and best practices, and collaborating with development and IT teams to embed security into design, coding, testing, and deployment processes.



The Application Security Manager will perform regular security assessments, code reviews, and vulnerability scans, manage remediation activities, and ensure compliance with relevant security frameworks and regulations. Daily tasks include monitoring security incidents related to applications, coordinating threat modeling exercises, and providing guidance and training on secure development practices. The role requires close coordination with business stakeholders to balance security needs with performance, usability, and delivery timelines.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of application security principles, secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC), and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
Experience with security testing tools such as SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and web application firewalls.
