Role Description The Pediatrician will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents in an on-site clinical setting located in Kendujhar. This full-time role involves conducting routine check-ups, assessing growth and development, diagnosing and treating common childhood illnesses, and managing chronic pediatric conditions. The Pediatrician will review medical histories, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and offer evidence-based treatment plans. Responsibilities include communicating clearly with parents and caregivers, providing preventive care guidance (such as vaccinations, nutrition,



and safety), and maintaining accurate medical records. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and participating in clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and specialized pediatric qualification (MD/DNB in Pediatrics or equivalent), with valid medical registration.
- Demonstrated clinical skills in pediatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care, including vaccination and growth monitoring.
- Strong communication and counseling abilities for interacting with children, families, and caregivers in a clear, compassionate manner.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team and contribute to coordinated patient management.
- Proficiency in maintaining detailed clinical documentation, using medical records systems, and following established clinical protocols.
- Commitment to ethical medical practice, patient safety, and continuous career development in pediatric medicine.
- Experience in hospital or clinic-based pediatric practice is preferred; familiarity with local health conditions and guidelines is an advantage.
