Responsibilities:
Part A: Core Responsibilities:
1. Manage all manufacturing driven initiatives SAFETY ,5S, KAIZEN, TPM, QUALITY CIRCLE
2. Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy,
policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
3. Contribute to recent business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on
Maintenance activities.
4. Audit and ensure compliance of the engineering data systems.
5. Schedule both internal and external work maximizing planned down time and reducing
unplanned downtime.
6. Optimize equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product
quality.
7. Develop clear accountability for maintenance material spend combined with a strategy to
manage expenditure.
8. Manage the process of the introduction of new machinery, plant and equipment from drawing
up the specification.
9. Undertake continuous training and development.
10. Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
11. Identify business improvement opportunities within the organization.
12. Provide technical expertise to the team.
13. Identify and deploy the technical skill sets,
resource levels and systems to deliver projects,
including the engagement of external resources as required.
14. Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental
policies and procedures to ensure the safety of staff and visitors
15. Tracking expenses and overseeing the budget for maintenance.
16. Adherence to personal hygiene and GMP standard applicable for the site
17. Any irregularities or abnormal incidents related to GMP observed shall be escalated to
reporting manager.
18. Ensuring that the integrated management system conforms to the requirements of this
International Standard.
19. Ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs.
20. Reporting on the performance of the integrated management system and on opportunities for
improvement in particular to top management.
21. Ensuring the promotion of customer focus throughout the organisation.
22. Ensuring that the integrity of the integrated management system is maintained when changes
to the integrated management system are planned and implemented.
23. Ensuring the defined procedures and practices of Integrated management system are
deployed in the process, understood by all personnel involved and compliance is confirmed.
