Position:

Engineer/ Sr Engineer (Hardware)

Job Description:

Principal Accountabilities:

*Resonsible for all phases of hardware design cycle starting from design from draft to test and final implemenation
*Testing and analysis of prototypes or running systems and come up with the analysis reports.
*Hardware support for any current development and improving the existing designs and new ones.
*Running and optimizing EMC mefasurements and duration tests as specified in the measurement requirement.
*Drafting schematic and layout in an accurate way
*Monitoring and maintaining the safety, quality and safety of products and writing tests and development documentation.
*Preparing BOM(Bill of material) in the most efficent way
* Coordinating with different teams(Software,Mechanical,thermal) to be on same Points while Schematic and layout
*Debugging issues in the PCB and responsible for ensuring smooth delivery of product to customer.

Job Complexity:

*Incumbent works under general supervision




*Incumbent has substantial experience to resolve problems and concepts
*Incumbent can work on complex concepts and implementation.

Technical Skills:
* Experience on all stages of Product Development Lifecycle with High Speed Board Design experience.
* Working experience in hardware design of Micro-Processors: TI, Freescale, NXP, Qualcomm.
* Memories: DDR2, DDR3, LPDDR2/3
* High Speed Board designing, Multi-layer Board design, Signal integrity (HyperLynx), Board Bring up.
* Exposure working in both: Digital Design & Analog Design
* Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) / Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) compliance.
* Lab instruments like Multi- meters, Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Logic analyzer etc.

Year of experience: 3-6 years

Education: B.E/M.E , B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent
