Black Duck is seeking a Sr Software Engineering Manager to lead the development of its open source management solution. The Sr EM will provide leadership across functional teams and subject matter experts in planning, development, and implementation of roadmap goals. Responsibilities include creating, maintaining, and managing a development plan that tracks deliverables and resources across multiple workstreams. The Sr EM will drive the execution of the plan, ensuring all timelines and deliverables are met,



and will manage communications with cross-functional team members and senior management in Engineering, QA, and Product Management.
Responsibilities
Provide hands-on direction to a software engineering team, collaborating with product management and architecture leads to deliver agreed-upon roadmap items.
Drive the delivery of engineering deliverables across multiple development organizations.
Serve as the scrum master, leading cross-functional teams including development, user experience, and quality assurance.
Partner with Product Management to ensure successful product delivery from conception to release.
Communicate engineering release health, issues, and risks to stakeholders at various levels within the organization.
