Role Description This is a full-time, in office Reporter role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Reporter will research, identify, and develop newsworthy stories related to business, finance, and professional services, focusing on topics relevant to KPMG India and its stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include conducting interviews, gathering information from multiple sources, verifying facts, and producing clear and accurate news articles, reports, and multimedia content for internal and external platforms. The role involves collaborating with communication, marketing, and subject matter teams to ensure content is aligned with organizational guidelines and brand voice. The Reporter will also monitor industry trends, track developments in the professional services sector, and maintain relationships with key contacts to support ongoing coverage.
Qualifications
Strong reporting skills, including research, fact-checking,



and source development.
Excellent writing and news writing abilities, with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and engaging storytelling.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for interviews and stakeholder interactions.
Experience with multimedia formats (e.g., digital, social, video or audio) and familiarity with newsroom or content workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field.
Prior experience in business, financial, or corporate reporting is preferred.
Ability to work under deadlines, manage multiple assignments, and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong ethical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to unbiased, inclusive coverage.
