Role Description The Mould Design Engineer will be responsible for designing plastic injection moulds, preparing detailed CAD models and drawings, and coordinating with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing product requirements, selecting appropriate materials and components, conducting design calculations, and optimizing mould designs for quality, cycle time, and durability.



The role also involves resolving design-related issues on the shop floor, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and updating documentation and standards as needed. This is a full time, on-site position based in Vadodara, requiring regular interaction with production, quality, and maintenance teams.

Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to mould and product development.
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modelling, detailed drawings, and design revisions specific to injection moulds.
Experience in Product Design, including translating customer or internal requirements into manufacturable mould and part designs.
Understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts related to moulds and injection machines (e.g., heaters, sensors, control elements) is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering,
